Thursday evening Peg picked Mel up at Idaho Falls Hospital. They had a special prayer meeting and fasting that evening at 8:00 PM. Took Mel back to Idaho Falls Hospital. 5th Ward Relief Society had a fall social smorgasbord. Hi and I fasted. I brought food home for Hi and I at 9:00 PM. It was also visiting teaching seminar. In morning and afternoon Barbara Williams cleaned my west cupboards. I gave a talk a the seminar.

Well, it might take me awhile to get used to doing this every night again. We had a really good weekend. My neck still hurts a lot, but it feels better than it did on Thursday. On Friday I went to our ward's "Fabulous Friday" event, which is like "Super Saturday," but not, because it was on a Friday night which I thought was really lame. Anyway, I went with my mom and we made some clocks. They were very time consuming and I messed up big time on one of them, but it was fun to go together and get a little "crafty." On Saturday Nathanael went on a long run and I went to the library and run a few other errands. At 5:30 we left and went to dinner at some new friends that we met, Aunna and Phillip. Nathanael met Aunna while he was studying for the Utah Bar and we've hung out twice, now. They are a very nice couple. I hope we'll hang out with them more. Today, Sunday, we went to church at 11:00. It was Fast Sunday and the ward was supposed to fast for our Bishop's youngest son, Benjamin, who they've just discovered has tumors in his head and will need chemotherapy for a year. It's very sad and he is just the cutest little boy. We really hope he will get better. In primary we had all 6 boys there and we taught a lesson about how making wise choices helps us choose the right. We had a special sacrament meeting combined with the 9th Ward and they split their ward to include into some of our ward, the 1st ward. After church I had a little nap and we had a yummy roast beef dinner at 4:30. Nathanael and I went on a walk at 6:30 near the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and we saw 3 deer that came really close to us. It was cold, so we didn't stay out long.

Well...I thought I was done with this blog. I just kind of forgot to do it, and then it seemed like I was too far behind and it seemed silly to just start it up again randomly. However, I miss my grandma. I felt close to her while reading her daily entries and I missed knowing what she was up to and thinking about her multiple times throughout the day. So here I am again, after not making an entry in over 2 months. I can't believe it is already October. This week the weather has gotten cold and stormy and I am already missing summer and longing for the hot days and warm nights. All well.
Yesterday I hurt my neck somehow and I woke up this morning not being able to move my head at all. Very inconvenient, and painful. It's feeling a little better tonight, but I sure hope it feels better tomorrow. I have a busy weekend ahead of me. Today I didn't do much (because I was in so much pain) so I worked, rather slowly, and then this afternoon I laid on my chair and watched the longest movie I've ever seen: My Fair Lady. Ugh. What a terrible movie. That is coming from a girl who absolutely adores Audrey Hepburn and musicals, especially from 50 years ago. :) I really disliked that movie. So it was kind of a waste of time, but at least I got to rest and keep heat on my neck and back. That's about all I've done today. Pretty boring, but I was trying to rest. Last night I had a girls night over at our "apartment" and that was fun (minus the not being able to turn my head part). I like girls nights.

I cleaned the oven and racks in the stove. Hiram and I traced and cut out hearts for the Relief Society Smorgasbord and visiting teaching social. Irene and I worked at Genealogy Library. I bought some white ribbon for the red hearts.

Back to 2010:
I love that my grandpa was helping my grandma cut out hearts for the RS "smorgasbord". So cute! I wish I could have seen them doing that. While I was watching My Fair Lady today, I thought that my grandma kind of looked like Audrey Hepburn when my grandma was younger. There is a picture hanging by our TV of my grandma when she was 19 and she is so stunningly beautiful. She could have been an actress.

I slept in until 10:00 because Nathanael and I had stayed up very late talking. I worked until about 2:00 PM and then Nathanael and I drove down to Provo for our date. We went to a bunch of places where we had good memories in Orem/Provo and went to dinner at Cafe Rio (which is where our first official date was). At 7:00 we met my mom and dad at Kyna's in Provo and helped her move to a new apartment in south Provo. After that we went to the Provo Cemetery and Squaw Peak and got home at 11:00 PM.

Nathanael went to day 2 of the bar exam. He left at 7:15 this morning and got back around 5:15 PM. He is DONE. Officially done with all of law school now. Yay! We have to wait 8 - 10 weeks to get the results, but I'm sure he passed. I worked a little bit, but work was slow and I had a lot of other things to do. I did two loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom, did the dishes, went to Leatherby's to pick up an ice cream cake, helped make dinner. We had dinner just before 6:00. We had steak, pasta salad, chips and dip and other good stuff. We had ice cream cake for dessert. We talked with the Hansen's for a bit who were outside in their backyard.

Day one of the Bar Exam for Nathanael. Neither of us slept well. He left at 7:20 AM. The exam was held at the South Towne Expo Center. I worked from about 9:00 to 2:30. I went to Walmart with my mom. I read some of the book "Catching Fire." I helped make taco salad for dinner. Nathanael got home at 6:30 pm. I went to the store with him and to get gas in our car. I read some more of my book and watchd an episode of "Lie to Me."

I worked from approximately 10:00 to 3:30. I scrapbooked more of our cruise pictures. I went to Barnes & Noble with my mom and bought the book "Catching Fire." We had leftovers for dinner. Nathanael got home at 7:00 and was soaking wet because it rained. We watched the movie "The Bounty Hunter" and went to bed around 11:00 PM.

Went to church from 11:00 to 2:00 today. Nathanael and I taught the 4-5 year olds about sharing. I gave the opening prayer in Sacrament Meeting. After church we helped fix dinner. We had barbecued spare ribs and salads and corn on the cob. I scrapbooked a lot of our cruise pictures. Nathanael and my dad and I went on a walk around 8:45 pm. When we came back we had Root Beer Floats. Nathanael is watching "My Name Is Earl."

Pioneer Day
I woke up about 9:00 and mowed the edges of the lawn outside. Nathanael went to school at 10:00. I went and got a free car wash at a new place that just opened down the street. I went to Robert's and got some scrapbooking supplies. I went with my mom to Ream's and Walmart to get some groceries. We had a barbecue at 6:30. I drove to Salt Lake at 8:00 and met Nathanael at the law school where he's been studying at 8:45. We drove up near Ensign Peak to watch the fireworks. We got home just after 11:00 PM.

I went with Hi to Dr. Terry Hansen to get his eyes examined. Hi has a small cataract in right eye. We looked at glasses frames in one optical place. We looked at some things in B Mart and bought 2 pieces of vinyl carpet cover.

I woke up at 9:00. I worked from 9:15 to about 12:00, but work was very slow. At 1:30 I went with my mom and sisters to Gardner Village. We had lunch at Archibald's and then walked around the shops. It was a very fun afternoon. We got home about 5:00 and I took a little nap. My mom and Megan and I went to see the movie "Toy Story 3" at The District at 7:15. After the movie we stopped at Walmart and got pizza and ice cream. We made the pizza for dinner and ate about 10:00 PM. Nathanael got home just before we did and is watching "My Name is Earl."

I woke up at 9:00 this morning and worked from about 9:30 to 3:00. I went outside and finished reading the book "The Hunger Games." It was pretty good. I am going to read the second one. I ate dinner with my mom and dad about 6:00. I watched a movie, "Remember Me" from about 7:00 to 8:45. I didn't like it very much. I went on a walk with my mom around 9:00.

I woke up at 9:00 AM and worked on and off until 7:45 PM. Work was very slow and sporadic, so I just had to take what I could get. In the meantime, I started reading "The Hunger Games" and uploaded and printed out pictures from Walgreens. I helped my dad make chicken pillows for dinner. I took Megan to mutual at 7:00. My mom and I went on a walk at 8:30 and got back just before 9:00.

Our 5 year anniversary today. I worked for an hour then went downtown to meet Nathanael for lunch. We went to the Lion House Pantry for lunch. It was good. We walked around Temple Square for about an hour. It was nice, but very hot. Nathanael gave me a book, "The Hunger Games" even though I told him not to get me a present. I didn't get him anything. I went to Gateway afterward and did a little shopping. I got home at 3:45 and worked from 4:00 to 5:00. Aaron came home at 5:30 and at 6:00 we all went to the new In-N-Out Burger that Melanie is going to be working at. They were open for family and friends of the employees and we all got a free meal. I don't really like the food there. We got back around 7:30 and me, my mom and dad and Aaron talked in the backyard for about an hour. My mom and I went on a walk. Nathanael came home at 9:30 (which was early! Yay) and we watched a movie, "When In Rome." It was a good day.

Hi and I went to temple. Went through 11 AM and 2 PM sessions. We had lunch at the temple. We visited Carl and Amy Kempton. Carl walked using the parallel bars. Hi and I went to the Grandleton Mall. Talked to a young lady in Schudochs about the gospel.

Work was slow. I didn't do nearly as much as I would've liked. I went to Lehi at 5:00 PM and Lisa and I went to a cycling class from 6:00 to 7:00 at the Lehi Legacy Center. We drove around after and looked at some houses to rent. :) I got home at 9:00 PM.

We went to church from 11:00 to 2:00 PM. Nathanael and I taught primary. The kids were very rowdy today and we were very tired. Not a good combination. All well. My mom didn't go to church because she was sick in the night due to medicine she took for pain for a root canal she had. I made shrimp scampi for dinner and we ate at 4:15 PM. Nathanael studied for a bit here and I made cookies upstairs. We finished watching Les Miserables from the night before. Nathanael and I went on a walk around 7:30 but it was very hot, so we didn't go far, and came and sat in the shady backyard for awhile. It was nice to get to spend some time with him. Later we watched the movie "Proof" and Melanie joined us. In the middle of the movie my dad and Nathanael gave my mom a blessing to help her with the pain and to help her be able to sleep. We finished the movie and went to bed around midnight.

Hi went to see Dr. Call for a check up and Hi is to go in for treadmill test on July 31st. We bought a 6 inch fan for bedroom. We bought the bottom heating unit and Hi installed it in oven. Hi and I went to Maag Drug and bought a hammer tool .... pad. Paid ID .... Store on lay away.

Woke up around 9:30 this morning and cleaned our little apartment. At 10:45 I went out and mowed the backyard and finished around noon. It was over 100 degrees today and it was very, very hot. I had lunch and ran a few errands. I took a nap in the afternoon. At 6:00 my mom and I went to The District to Target, Red Robin for dinner, and JC Penney. I bought some things for someone's birthday coming up. :) We got home just before 9:00 and my mom and I went on a walk. We got back at 9:30 and I went to Walmart to get some things for dinner tomorrow and a few other little groceries Nathanael and I needed.

I woke up around 9:00 and worked until about 11:00. Melanie and I went over to Megan's graduation from horse camp, but we were late. They did the awards early, so we missed them, but we got to see her horse and have lunch there with her and my parents. I got back around 12:30 and tried to work a bit more. There wasn't a whole lot of work to do, though. I took a nap in the afternoon. I watched the movie "Dear John" by myself while everyone else was out doing things. I went to bed around 11:00 and Nathanael came home around midnight or 12:30.

I paid a lot of bills today. I worked at Genealogy Library and Newel Widdison's grandson came in - His name is Lynn Scott. I mailed a letter. They were redoing the park in lot at the post office. Yesterday we went to visit Greg and Barbara. On way home Mr. Wilson asked us to go with them to 31 FLavors to get ice cream cones. Mailed baby things to Liz.

I woke up at 9:25 this morning and worked from 9:45 until 2:30 PM. I met Kera and baby Ethan at Thanksgiving Point at 3:45 PM. We went to the farm country and looked at the animals and then got milkshakes. She was leaving to go back to Oregon tomorrow. I sure will miss her! At 5:30 I left Thanksgiving Point and drove to Provo to hang out with Kyna. We drove around trying to find places to stay for Nathanael and me for our anniversary. We drove up Provo Canyon and went on a little walk through the canyon and listed to a little concert in a park up the canyon for a bit. I left there at 8:30 PM and got home just after 9:00 PM. Nathanael got home from school around 11:30 PM.

I woke up at 9:00 and worked from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. At 11:30 I took my mom to LDS Hospital to have a left thumb trigger surgery. We got there at 12:30 and she went in for her procedure at 2:15 and was done at 2:30. We left there at 3:15 PM and got home at 4:00 PM. I worked for about an hour and a half more and then helped my dad make tacos for dinner. I worked a bit more but then there was no more work. I watched 2 episodes of "Happy Town."

I woke up around 9:00 AM and worked from about 9:30 until 2:30 this afternoon. I went to Target to get some large band-aids (for my leg) and some plastic paper covers for my piano notebook. My mom and I made Chef Salad for dinner and we ate just after 6:00 PM. My mom and I went on a walk around 7:30 PM. It was very hot. We got back just after 8:00 PM. I did 3 large loads of laundry today and folded them and put away some of it. I watched 2 episodes of "Happy Town" while I did laundry. My dad was in the basement while I was watching trying to fix the boiler so we can have hot water. Going to bed now. Nathanael should be home around 11:30 PM.

We went to church from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It was raining all morning. Nathanael and I taught the 4-5 year old Primary class about saying thank-you. We had beef stew and rolls for lunch at 2:45 and I took a nap from about 3:30 to 6:00 PM. I guess I was really tired. We had a brief FHE around 6:30 on The Constitution. Nathanael taught the lesson. My mom and I went on a walk and we stopped and talked to some neighbors. Aaron was down from Logan to attend his friends farewell. He watched a movie with Nathanael and me, "Saving Silverman" around 9:00 PM. We went to bed just before midnight.

I called Lynn about 7:30 PM in California about the Olive Reunion. I worked too hard and had cramps in legs and knees.

I woke up about 9:30 and I mowed the lawn edges and did some weeding until about 1:30 PM. I made sandwiches for myself and mom and dad for lunch and we ate lunch around 2:00 PM. At 3:30 I went with my mom and we ran some errands and did some shopping at The District. We came home at 5:15 and at 5:45 my mom and I drove to the Covey Center in Provo to see the play Erin's Promise because Megan was an extra in the play. We went to dinner at Los Hermanos afterward and got home about 11:15 PM.

I woke up about 8:45 this morning and worked from about 9:15 to 2:30. Work was slow today and I ran out of work to do. I straightened our apartment up and then went to Walmart to get a few things. I helped my mom make Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner and we ate about 6:30 PM. My mom and I went on a walk around 7:45 PM. At 8:30 I watched the movie "Everybody's Fine" and sewed buttons onto the curtains for the basement. We found the dog "Harley" again and we are watching him until we can get a hold of the owners. It's 11:00 PM and Nathanael is not home from school yet, but should be here any minute.

Irene and I worked at Genealogy Library. Davies youngest daughter Marie and husband Jerry Root are here with the Davies. I sold her 5 sets of butterflies. In the evening a man came to give us a bid on putting siding on the house.

Saturday night we went to the hill near our house with our parents and watched fireworks over the valley. My leg was still hurting and ankle very swollen so we didn't go very far. We found a stray Yorkie and he slept over this night because we could not find his owners.

Independence Day
We went to church from 11:00 to 2:00. We taught Primary about showing gratitude. Nathanael does most of it. My leg was still hurting a lot. Sunday evening at 5:00 we went to a BBQ at the Hansen's with the May's and Carroll's. It was really fun. After the barbecue, we did a few little fireworks in the front yard and then watched a movie, "The Recruit" in our basement with Aaron and Candace and Skyler and Amber and Megan. I went to bed before the movie was over.

Everyone had the day off work today. Nathanael went to school to study since he took all of yesterday off. I sewed on some buttons for the curtains downstairs. We had another barbecue in the evening. John Aurich was there because he had helped my dad all day trimming trees in the backyard. Kyna Taylor came to visit in the evening.

I worked for several hours. I called Animal Control about the dog and they came and got him. It was very sad. We had decided we wanted to keep him if his owners did not claim him. He is very cute.

I worked from about 10:30 to 3:00 and then went to a store called Fashion Warehouse. I helped my mom make dinner when I got back. I made peanut butter brownies in the evening. The owner of the dog we found (we called him Harley) called us back and they went to the animal shelter to pick him up. We wish we could have kept him. I worked again in the evening from about 9:45 to 10:45 and then went to bed.

Irene and I and Jean King and Lerah Wallace and Sister Martineau went to work meeting at 6:30 at Gwen Street building. Hi bought more parts and worked on Ralph's truck and got it running good. Jean King and I went visiting teaching at 3:00 PM.

I woke up at 8:30. I worked for an hour then got ready and went to Domino's to pick up 6 pizzas for my mom's school class. I took them to her class at 11:30 and stayed there until just after 12:00. I came back and worked for a bit more. I helped straighten some of Melanie's hair and then I took a nap from about 2:30 to 3:30 PM. I worked a bit more and then at 5:15 me, Megan and my parents went to the Riverton Parade because Melanie was in it for the musical "Hairspray" she is in at the Riverton Civic Center. We got home just after 9:00 PM. My ankle is very, very swollen so I iced it for awhile and now I'm going to bed.

I did not take Megan to school today. Nathanael took her. I asked him too because my leg was hurting. It was her last day of summer school. I woke up about 8:45 and worked for a few hours. I went next door to Hansen's and visited with Lisa and Susan. I came back and for a few more hours and went back to Hansen's for a little while to visit. I came back at 5:30 and made spaghetti for dinner. We ate at 6:00. I watched a movie, "Tuck Everlasting" so I could rest and elevate my swollen ankle ( from my burn). At 9:30 I decided I should go to the doctor because my ankle was getting so swollen and painful. My mom took me to Copperview Medical Center (Nathanael was at the gym) and we got in just 2 minutes before they closed! I saw a Dr. Wallace who said my leg had a secondary bacteria infection. He gave me a prescription for an oral and topical antibiotic and a prescription for Lortab. He numbed my burn and told me to take off all the dead skin when I got home and put the antiobiotic cream on it and bandage it. We went to Walgreens to get the prescriptions filled (they cost $45 total) and we finally got home about 11:20 PM. I took off some of the dead skin ( I think most of it) and put the cream on and put a bandage on it. The doctor told me to use a woman's sanitary pad for the bandage because the material won't stick, but it will help it heal! So I put that on it. I took my medicine and went to bed.

Isaac Swift stayed at our house last night. We picked him up around 4:15 at the SLC airport yesterday, Tuesday June 29th. We had a nice roast beef dinner at 6:00. Nathanael and Isaac played Yahtzee the whole night. :) This morning I took Megan to school at 8:30 but could barely walk because the pain in my leg was so severe. I got home at 9:15 and worked for an hour. Nathanael came home at 11:15 and at 11:30 we drove to Provo. We went to lunch at The Smokehouse in Orem and then took Isaac to the MTC at 1:15. He will be serving in Kobe, Japan after 12 weeks in the MTC. It was kind of sad to see him go, but we are so, so excited for him. We got back home around 2:30 and we both took naps. I woke up about 3:15 and worked for about an hour and a half. Nathanael slept until about 4:15. We had leftovers for dinner and Nathanael went to the gym around 6:30 and got back around 8:30. Took Megan to school at 8:30. Worked until about 3:00 PM. I hurt my left hand from typing, so it is painful to type. My burn on my leg is still hurting very, very badly. I feel like I'm falling apart! I hope I feel better soon. I made dinner at 6:00 and we had chicken quesadillas at 6:45 PM. My mom and I went on a walk at 7:30. I finished making the slideshow for her school class. I went to bed around 11:15 PM.

Woke up at 9:00 but couldn't get ready because there was no hot water. I had to wait about 45 minutes and then got ready for church. Nathanael went early to help my mom set up a video for her Relief Society lesson. We went to church from 11:00 to 2:00 PM. We taught our primary class about Jesus Christ being our Shepherd. Around 3:00 we had chicken salad sandwiches for lunch. I took a nap from about 5:30 to 6:45 PM. I made Snickerdoodles and my mom and I went on a walk around the neighborhood.

I woke up about 9:30 AM and cleaned a little. I worked on a slideshow for my mom's class. In the evening Kera came and got me and we took Cafe Rio to her husband Billy who is working on a movie in Alpine, UT. We walked up and saw a pretty waterfall while we were there. We stopped and got Cafe Rio on the way back and came back to our place and watched the movie "Leap Year."

Took Megan to school at 8:30 AM and got back at 9:15 AM. I worked for a few hours. I did some laundry. I went outside and finished reading the book Atonement. Nathanael came home from school around 5:00 and at 5:45 we went on a motorcycle ride up Butterfield Canyon. At the top of the canyon I got off the bike and burned my leg badly on the muffler of the bike. I put mud on it and rode home and iced it the rest of the evening. We got home from the ride about 7:30 PM and Nathanael got dinner ready and we watched News Radio. My dad took Megan to Snow College for Youth Conference and got back around 9:30 PM. He and Nathanael are watching Valkyrie upstairs.

I went to the bank (Chase) to deposit some checks and then went to Bath & Body Works to buy soap (and maybe a few extra things.) :) I made dinner, red sauce chicken enchiladas with a corn and black bean salsa and chips and salad and we ate at 6:00 PM. At 7:45 I went to the Rec Center with my mom and Megan to exercise. We got back just after 9:00 PM.

I made cookies for Relief Society and at 6:30 Melanie, mom and I went to the Summer Salad Social for Relief Society. Melanie and I and Amber May came home at 8:00 and my mom stayed and came home later with Julie May. Melanie helped me plant flowers out front. My mom and I went on a walk around 8:45 -9:30 PM.

I took Megan to school at 8:30 AM and got home about 9:20 AM. I worked until about noon and then took a break to get ready, etc. I worked for a bit more, but work was very slow today. I went outside with Jackson and read for awhile and fell asleep. Nathanael came home just before 4:00 and stayed outside for awhile. At 5:00 we went out in the front yard and weeded the flower beds. We had dinner at 6:30. My mom went to Smith's and got some chicken and other stuff for dinner. At 7:30 PM Nathanael went to Gold's Gym and I went with my mom and Megan to the South Jordan Rec Center to exercise. We got home around 9:00 PM. Nathanael got home from the gym around 10:30 PM.

One day this week Hi and I took 8 Mexicans and 40 sets of butterflies to Debby Coroy to be displayed at the stake expressions fireside on 6/23. Margaret and Hiram went to Dr. Berrey - Dentist and had their teeth cleaned. It cost us $102.60. We bought a light for fridge today and paid for and got pictures from Buttreys.

Father's Day
Today was not only Father's Day, but was my mom's 55th birthday as well. Megan and Melanie and I made breakfast for everyone this morning. We made French Toast and sausage and bacon and eggs and ate at 9:15 AM. We got ready for church and went to church at 11:00 AM. Nathanael and I taught the 4-5 year old Primary class for the second time. We had 5 boys in our class today and taught them about being a peacemaker in their home. I went home during Sharing Time and put the potatoes in the oven for dinner and decorated the kitchen and did the dishes and went back to church for Sacrament Meeting. After church we made dinner. We had pasta salad, green salad, twice baked potatoes, and steak. We ate around 4:00 PM. Nathanael and I took naps after dinner and then Nathanael called his family. It's also his mom's birthday today and his brother Isaac's 19th birthday today. At 7:00 PM we did presents and cake and ice cream. My dad gave a little "speech" about how much he loves my mom and how much she's sacrificed for all of us. It was very sweet. I am grateful to have parents who love one another so much and who genuinely care so much and respect each other so much. They are a wonderful example. After dessert, my mom and dad and Aaron and Nathanael and I (and Jackson) went on a walk. It was a really good day. It's been a good weekend.

I took Megan to school at 8:30 AM and got back around 9:20 AM. I worked from 9:30 to 12:30. Took a shower and had lunch then worked from 1:30 to 2:30. I went to Walmart to get a few things for dinner and to pick up some pictures, but the machine wasn't working so I waited there for about 45 minutes just to get 2 pictures printed. I vacuumed and mopped the upstairs kitchen floor and got dinner ready; pulled pork sandwiches. After dinner my mom and I went on a walk to the park by the fire station and walked around the track twice. The NBA Finals were on, it was the last game and the dumb Lakers won. The game just ended. Now it's time to get ready for bed.

I woke up at 8:15 and at 8:30 took Megan to summer school at Valley High School. I worked from 9:30 to 12:30 then showered and got ready. I worked from 1:15 to 2:15 and then worked on a project. I went to Target to return a clock and went to Walmart to pick up some pictures and bought a new clock for the bathroom. My dad and I made taco salad for dinner and we ate at 5:30. At 7:00 my mom and I went to the South Jordan Rec Center to exercise. We just bought a family pass last Saturday. We got home just after 8:00 PM and I worked some more on my project. Nathanael folded some laundry and is watching TV. Almost time for bed.

I haven't written in a long, long time. May was such a busy month for us. Nathanael finished law school at the end of April and we went on our cruise May 2nd through 9th. My family came to Oregon on May 12th and Nathanael graduated from Willamette Law School on Sunday, May 16th. We finished packing and cleaning that night and started the drive to Utah. We made it to Nampa, Idaho at 3:00 AM and stayed with Dallas and Ki and Angie and Russ. We made it back to South Jordan, Utah around 5:00 PM on May 17th. We had lots of help from friends and neighbors to unload our moving truck and it went very fast. I spent the next week unpacking and trying to get organized. This last weekend was Memorial Day weekend. Aaron and his girlfriend Candace came down from Logan and spent Sunday and Monday with us. We went to a movie and had a barbecue on Monday. Today was pretty insignifant. I just worked and cleaned. We had leftovers from the BBQ for dinner and Melanie and I watched Glee.

It was really hard trying to get back in the swing of things today! I woke up with a huge headache and was tired all day. I worked for a bit, but it was really slow. Did some laundry, Nathanael did most of it and folded all of it. I ran some errands, went to Kera's, went to Walgreens to get pictures, went to Roth's. I made chimichangas for dinner. I was on the computer fixing pictures from our trip and blogging for awhile. Nathanael worked on some of our video from our trip making it into a DVD. I need to finish unpacking from our trip.

Mother's Day
We got back last night (Saturday) from our trip. We flew into Seattle from Fort Lauderdale and got there at 9:30 PM. Nathanael's mom Jacquelyn came and picked us up from the airport. Today I woke up around 7:00 AM and Nathanael slept until about 9:30 AM. Talitha and John came over to the Swift's and made waffles and bacon for breakfast. We gave Jacquelyn some gifts for Mother's Day and we left there at 11:30 AM. We got back to Salem just before 3:00 PM. Nathanael took a nap. I called my mom. We watched TV. I made chicken fettuchini for dinner and we rested and watched TV. I should've unpacked and done some laundry, but I didn't. I was exhausted! I went to bed around 10:30 PM. We had such a fun vacation, but it is good to be home!

I woke up around 9:00 this morning and showered and got ready. I worked for about 45 minutes. Nathanael woke up around 10:30 and ran 3 miles. At 12:30 we went to Goodwill to get some books to read for our trip. We went to Walmart to buy Aqua Socks for me and some vitamins and some snacks for our trip. I went to Talitha's salon at 2:45 to get my hair cut and to go tanning. Nathanael dropped me off and went to Jordan MacDonald's. He came and got me at 4:00 PM. Jacquelyn bought Pizza Hut pizza for dinner and we ate around 5:30 or 6:00. Doranda and her family came up from Bremerton and Malachi and Layne and Bruce came over and Talitha came over at 7:00. We played some games and watched the end of the Jazz game on my computer. We are getting ready to go on our trip tomorrow, so I think I am just going to post grandma's entries now.

I woke up around 8:30 this morning and worked for about an hour and a half or so. We packed and cleaned and got everything ready to go. We left our apartment at 12:45 PM and drove to Portland and went to Voodoo Donuts. They were really good! Then we drove up to Puyallup and got to Puyallup at 5:00 PM. Nathanael's mom Jacquelyn had made dinner and we ate around 5:30. Nathanael and Isaac and Caleb played basketball. Nathanael left at 6:45 to go to Red Robin with some friends. I stayed and played Pass the Pigs with Jacquelyn and Isaac and Caleb and watched some TV.

I worked this morning. Nathanael slept in until about 10:45 AM. My back still hurts a lot today and I had a headache. I took a nap at 1:00 PM. Nathanael ran some errands today. I made Chicken Piccata for dinner. We ate around 5:15 PM. At 5:30 PM we went and got boxes from our friends friend and got back around 6:15. At 7:00 we went to the Walters to help them pack up their truck. We were there until about 8:30 or 8:45. Kera came and got me and we went to Applebee's for a late night snack. I came home and took a hot bath to try and help my back.

Hi got Connie and Heidi and took them to see Dr. Klein and waited and took Heidi back to school and Connie home. I fixed lunch. Hi ate and then went to school and picked up the children of Kathy's. We went to church from 9:30 to 12:30. It was our last Sunday at the Brush Hills Ward in West Salem. After church, I had leftover pizza for lunch and was on the computer. Nathanael watched basketball and took a little nap. Just after 2:00 PM we took Jackson to the dog park in Keizer. We were there until about 3:30 PM. When we got home, I took a nap for about an hour and Nathanael watched basketball and took another little nap. I fixed dinner, chicken, baked potatoes, pasta salad and carrots. We ate at 6:00 PM. After dinner I packed up some more boxes and we watched the Jazz game against the Denver Nuggets. The Jazz won again!

At 1:00 PM we went to a birthday party for Sophie Walters, daughter of our friends Jennifer and Eric. They are moving to Rexburg this week, so it was also kind of a goodbye party for them. After the party we went to Best Buy and Sears to look at TV's and camcorders. We got home around 4:00 and Nathanael took a nap and I packed some more boxes. We decided we were going to buy a Flip camcorder, so we called a bunch of places and then went to Walmart and then Target where we bought the Flip. We got Papa John's pizza for dinner and watched Did You Hear About The Morgans? after dinner.

I woke up at 8:30 this morning because my phone rang. It was the dermatologist FINALLY calling with my biopsy results! I have granuloma annulare , which is what the doctor thought. He gave me a prescription for a steroid topical ointment that should clear it up. Yay! I hope it works, especially because the prescription was $92.00. I have seen 3 doctors before the dermatologist, all who said it was something else. My Ob/Gyn thought it was Lyme Disease and two other general practictioners thought it was ringworm. They were wrong. I knew they were wrong. Anyway, I am glad to finally get it taken care of! So...after I talked to the dermatologist, I worked for an hour. Nathanael and I went to Bush Park and went jogging. He went further than me, but it was nice to exercise together. When we got back, Nathanael got ready and went golfing. I worked and got ready. Nathanael got back at 3:30 PM and I left and went to Bed, Bed & Beyond to get a gift card for Skyler May's wedding. When I got back arond 5:00 PM Nathanael made dinner for us and I packed some more boxes. We watched the Jazz play the Denver Nuggets on TV. The Jazz won!

I woke up around 9:00 AM. Nathanael was able to sleep in until 10:30 AM! I worked, Nathanael watched some TV, we both exercised. I worked more in the afternoon. At 3:30 Nathanael left with Brandon to go get pizza. They came back to our place to watch the NFL Draft. I left at 4:15 and went to the post office, K-Mart, Walmart and Office Depot. I folded some laundry, packed a few more boxes, had leftover pizza. Brandon left around 7:45 PM. Nathanael and I watched Bones.

Exciting things are happening around here! Nathanael took his last final of law school this morning from 8:00 to noon. I worked and exercised while he was gone. At 4:00 I went to Kinko's to get Nathanael's graduation announcements printed. I went to Fred Meyer after to get my friend Stephanie a birthday present. I got home around 5:45 PM. I had dinner, leftovers from yesterday. At 7:30 Kera and I went to Stephanie's to give her the present and a card. Kera came over after and helped me pack a few boxes. I woke up around 9:00 and worked for an hour and a half. I cleaned and vacuumed the apartment and got ready for the day. My visiting teachers (Shireen Taylor and Valerie Hopkins and her two kids) came at 1:00 until about 1:45 pm. The kids really liked playing with Jackson. I worked for awhile longer. I went to the post office. At 6:30 I went with Kera to Red Robin for dinner. I got home at 8:30 PM. I watched the movie The Time Travelers Wife. I liked it. Nathanael will be home around midnight.

We picked up our amended Income Tax from H & R Block. I paid them $20.00 for preparing them. Steve Long and Boyd Johnson came to our house and we have to pay the taxes. Steve Long gave us a check for $20.00 to reimburse us. We made checks out and took the taxes to the post office.

Liz and Craig called this morning. We attended all our meetings in 5th Ward. I made Hi a birthday cake. Troy and Suzanne and boy visited us. Roger and Kathy and family came and brought cards. We all had cake.

I woke up at 8:45 this morning and worked from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. I exercised for an hour. I called Delta to fix our flight reservations and was on the phone a long time with them. I worked from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. I ran some errands and went to Walgreens and Office Depot and Walmart. I made chicken Alfredo for dinner and organized some pictures and did some laundry and watched some TV. I went and got Nathanael from school just after 11:00 PM because it was raining really hard.

Woke up at 8:30. Worked from 9:00 to 11:30. Exercised for about an hour. Worked from 1:00 to 3:00. I went to Keizer Station to run some errands. I went to Target, Ross and Michael's. I left there at 5:30 and went to Jennifer Walters to help her pack. Kera came over and we had pizza and salad for dinner and then packed some of her kitchen items. I got home around 8:30 PM. Nathanael should get home between 11:00 and midnight tonight.

I woke up at 8:30. Worked from 9:00 to 11:00, work was slow. I exercised (yay!) for about 50 minutes. I showered and got ready and lunch and worked from about 1:00 to 4:00 PM. I cleaned a little and went to the Salem Center mall from about 5:30 to 7:30 PM. I watched TV in the evening. Nathanael got home around 10:30 PM.

Went to church from 9:30 AM to 12:20 PM. We had brunch at 1:00 PM; I made waffles and we had ice cream and fruit on them because I felt bad that Nathanael didn't have them last week for Conference. Nathanael went to school at 1:45 PM and should be back around 10:00 PM. I did the dishes and some laundry and organized my closet and unpacked my suitcase from SLC. At 7:00 PM I played Mario Kart online with some friends. I watched some TV.

Yesterday (Friday, April 9th) I worked and went grocery shopping at Walmart.
Today I woke up at 8:30 and we went to Riverfront Park at 9:45 AM to participate in the MS Walk For The Cure 2010. We walked for about 3 miles and got back around noon. Nathanael went to school to study and I went to Washington Square to go shopping. I got back around 4:30 PM. I had leftover enchiladas for dinner and watched TV. It is 10:00 PM and Nathanael is not home yet. He should be home within the hour. Hopefully.

I worked for a couple hours in the morning. I showered and got ready and I went to Silver Falls Dermatology for a follow up appointment at 1:30 pm. The results of my biopsy hadn't come back yet, so I just got my stitches out and went on my way. I should hear back by Monday with the results. I came back home and worked some more. I went to Kera and Billy's for dinner at 5:30. I came back at 6:30 and did the dishes. Kera came over at 7:15 and we made cards until about 9:15 pm. Jackson and I then went and picked up Nathanael from school. We watched Bones then I went to bed.

First day back in Salem. I woke up at 8:30 and worked from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. I showered and got ready and worked another hour or so and then went to a couple of stores, The Craft Warehouse and The Paper Zone. I got back around 4:30. I worked some more and watched some TV. I made rice and potstickers for dinner and I ate around 7:00 PM. Nathanael got home just before 10:00 PM.

My mom and dad and sister all had to go back to school/work today. I woke up at 8:30 and worked from 8:45 til 10:15 AM. I showered and got ready and drove to Lehi and picked up Lisa and Audrey. We went to Provo to Goldsmith Jewelers to get my wedding ring cleaned and re-dipped. Afterward, we went to lunch at Los Hermanos. I took Lisa and Audrey back to their house in Lehi and got back to my parents just after 3:00 PM. I took Megan to work. I did some laundry and packed. My mom and dad took me to the airport at 4:45. We got there about 5:20. My plane left at 6:50 and I got to Portland at 7:35 PM. Nathanael and Jackson picked me up at 8:20 PM and we got home at 9:30 PM. We had dinner and watched Bones then went to bed.

I got out of bed around 9:00 this morning. I did not sleep well at all last night and woke up about every 2 hours. Aaron left this morning around 10:15 to go back to Logan. I worked in the basement bathroom until my mom and dad got home from the doctor with Megan around 11:30 AM. We painted the remaining walls in the basement and all of the basement doors and finishing cleaning everything. It looks really good! We are about to go have some Root Beer Floats and RELAX the rest of the evening. Yay!

Easter Sunday
Woke up around 8:30 AM and got ready. Watched conference from 10:00 to 12:00. We had waffles and ice cream and fruit around 1:00 PM. Watched conference from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. We cleaned a little bit more in the basement. During conference my mom went through a lot of boxes that were in the basement hallway. We got dinner ready, ham, dutch over cheesy potatoes, salad, rolls, and ate around 7:00 PM. Just hung out the rest of the evening. It was a good day. Lots of talks in conference about the Savior and the resurrection.

Woke up around 8:30 and my throat and nose have been bothering me in the mornings lately. Not fun. We worked in the basement some more and we watched General Conference 10:00 to 12:00 and 2:00 to 4:00. Worked in the basement in between sessions and afterward for an hour. At 5:45 Aaron and dad left for Priesthood Session and I went with my mom and Melanie and Megan to dinner at Chili's and then to Lowe's and bought a rug for the basement and some other things. We also went to The District and I bought a shirt at Shade and at Down East Basics. We went to Claire's and Megan got some things. We came home and watched The Princess and the Frog and went through some boxes from the basement. We waxed the basement kitchen floor.

Mary-Anne was sealed to Liz and Craig. 40 people were in the sealing room besides the officiator; Brother Hinckley. Mary-Anne smiled at everyone. Liz, Kathy and Peggy, myself and many more shed tears. Brother Hinckley asked me (Margaret) to hold the baby on the alter, but I can't kneel so Grandma Lafaun Johnson held Mary-Anne. Pictures and video tapes were made on temple grounds of Liz and Craig, Mary-Anne, Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Grandma and Grandpa Talbot and Mike Taylor. Mel had to have laser treatments on eyes so they didn't go to Liz's after for a nice luncheon.

What a special day! I never realized that I was sealed to my parents on April Fool's Day! I will always remember, now. I also saw home video of this and it is so special. I love seeing everyone on the video. It's just so neat. I am so grateful for my parents and I am so grateful to be sealed to them for time and all eternity. What a blessing!
Today I woke up around 8:30 AM. I left at 11:00 AM for an appointment at the new Riverton Hospital at Western Obstetrician and Gynecological Clinic for my annual exam with Dr. Alisa Carlton. She was nice and my appointment was fine. I got back around 12:30 PM and had lunch with my mom and dad. My mom and I went to a paint store to get paint for the basement and went to a fabric store. We came back and my dad and I painted the basement bedroom. We worked some more in the basement but still have a LOT to do in the next few days!

Mary-Anne was blessed at 1:00 PM by Craig. 10 men were in the circle. We attended all the meetings at Liz's ward. Then went to Liz's where she had a luncheon for a lot of people; some brought food. This was a very special day.

I love the above post from my grandma. I actually watched the home video of the luncheon after church and it was so neat to see my grandma and to know she was there and that this day was special to her. I'm so glad we have it on video and I'm so glad that grandma kept record of it.
Today was a busy day. I went shopping at 10:30 AM with Megan and Alivia Carter. We went to South Towne Mall. At 1:00 PM we went to Chili's and met Ashley Freestone and her two kids, David and Zoey, there for lunch. We left there about 2:15 PM and I came home and started cleaning the basement kitchen. At about 4:45 PM my dad came home and took my to The District to JC Penney where I bought a black dress for my cruise and my dad bought me an Easter dress. :) It was fun to go shopping with my dad. He also got some new work shoes and I got some flip flops for Nathanael. After we shopped, we came home and cleaned in the basement some more. Lisa and Audrey Estrom came over for a little bit and visited around 9:00 PM.

I worked for two hours this morning and then got things ready to go to the airport. I did the dishes, cleaned the apartment, folded some laundry, packed my suitcase and went to the school to pick up Nathanael at 2:15 PM. We stopped at Salem's Women's Clinic to get my medical records to bring with me. We drove to the Portland Airport and got there around 3:40 PM. Nathanael walked me in and helped me get my bags checked and ready to go. My plane left at just after 5:00 PM and I got to Salt Lake just before 8:00 PM MST. My mom came and picked me up. We came home and had dinner and then walked around the basement looking at the things we have to do this week.

Today I took Nathanael to school at 7:00 AM and came back and went back to sleep. :) I worked for a bit, but work was slow. I did some laundry, went to Roth's to get a few things, made cookies, took cookies to Kera to thank her for watching Jackson last Saturday. We visited for almost an hour. I talked on the phone with Megan Carter for an hour while folding laundry and doing the dishes. I packed most of my things getting ready to go to SLC tomorrow. I watched some TV and Nathanael came home around 8:30 PM.

Hiram took Mrs. Elizabeth Davies to the grocery store. Hi got his hair cut. I did 5 batches of washing to get things ready to go to Salt Lake. At 1:00 pm Irene and I worked at Genealogy Library. hi took car to be fixed and bought a tow rope. We packed most of the things to take with us to Salt Lake to see Mary-Anne Taylor blessed and sealed.

We went to church from 9:30 to 12:30. It was Fast Sunday today. After church, Nathanael took a nap and watched basketball. I made chocolate-peppermint shortbread cookies to take to the girls I visit teach. They turned out kind of dry, but I took them anyway. I took them to Robyn Malczyk and Lisa Berry and visited with them awhile. I got back around 4:00 in the afternoon and we had dinner around 4:30. We had leftover spaghetti AGAIN. We're a little tired of spaghetti. :) Nathanael went to school just after 5:00. I did some laundry and the dishes and watched a movie "The Boys Are Back."

We woke up early because Tianna and her family woke up around 6:30 to get ready and leave to go to California. I got out of bed around 7:30 and we got ready and left to go to Florence at 9:30 AM. We got to Florence at noon and walked around the shops and had lunch at Mo's. We went to the Sea Lion Caves and to Heceta Lighthouse and drove along Highway 101 along the coast and stopped at Seal Rock. We got back home at 7:30 pm. While we were gone, Kera and Billy came and took care of Jackson for us. We had leftover spaghetti for dinner and watched the movie "American Outlaws." Fun and busy day!

Woke up around 9:30 (late, I know). Worked for a bit, but work was very slow. Took Nathanael to school around 11:00 AM so he could study. I cleaned the apartment, did some laundry, did the dishes, etc. At 5:30 Jackson and I went to Petsmart to return something. At 9:00 Nathanael's sister Tianna and her family came over and spent the night on their way to California. We had made spaghetti and meatballs and salad for dinner, so they ate and then went to bed pretty quickly afterward. It was good to see them.

I woke up at 8:30 AM. I got ready and went to a dermatologist appointment at 10:00 AM at Silver Falls Dermatology. They did a biopsy on my knee and I got stitches, my first ever. I was nervous, but it wasn't bad. I've had a weird bumpy rash on my knee for the last couple of years and so I finally went to the dermatologist to find out what it is. The doctor wasn't sure; hence the biopsy. I have a follow up appointment in 2 weeks. After that, I went to Salem Women's Clinic to fill out a medical release form. I came home and worked for 3 hours. I made sugar cookies and frosted and decorated them. I went and picked Nathanael up from school at 4:30 and we went to Boaz's for dinner at 5:00. At 6:15 we left and went to the stake center so Nathanael could play church ball from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. We came home, I worked a little bit more and did the dishes and some laundry. Nathanael watched basketball. We are going to watch The Office at 9:00.

At 3:00 PM I met Nathanael at the school and we played tennis for an hour or so. When I got home I worked for another hour and then made dinner. Nathanael came home at 6:15 and washed his motorcycle. We ate around 7:20 and had barbecue chicken and cheesy potatoes and ham and salad. We watched TV.

I showered and got ready and left about 3:00 to take Jackson to Petsmart to get his haircut. I dropped him off at 3:30 and I went shopping at Lancaster Mall and I went to Payless Shoes and also to Fred Meyer and Ross. I went and picked Jackson up at 6:15 and got home after 6:30 pm. It was $40 for Jackson's haircut, but he sure looks cute! :) Nathanael was home when we got home and he made Fettechini for dinner. We watched TV.

We went to church from 9:30 to 12:30. In Sunday School we talked about Joseph and the coat of many colors. In Relief Society and in Nathanael's class we learned about The Fall of Adam and Eve. After church, Nathanael napped and watched basketball. I blogged then took about a 45 minute nap. I played the piano for awhile while Nathanael was still watching basketball and was cleaning his paintball gear. I made no-bake cookies. We had lasagna and salad for dinner. We played Nintendo for a bit. I talked to my mom on the phone about Megan; she is having a hard time with some things right now. We watched Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and part of Undercover Boss. It was gloomy and dark and rainy today.

Nathanael went and played paintball this morning from about 8:30 to 12:30. I got up around 9:30 and did the dishes and showered and got ready and went to Roth's to get a few things. At 1:00 we drove to Silver Falls State Park and went on a hike. There is a trail that takes you to 10 waterfalls in 8.7 miles. We did the shorter version and saw 8 waterfalls in about 5 miles. I'm glad we did, because my legs are SORE! We came back around 5:45 PM and both fell asleep on the couch for a little bit. Later we had leftover rice and chicken for dinner and watched the movie ADAM.

We got a letter from Liz and Craig. Hi took Mrs. Davies to doctor at 10:00 AM. I checked on Mr. Davies two times. I shampooed and set my hair again. Hi cut down Wisteria Vine and I helped pile it and helped tie it. I went with Sister Loveless to Relief Society anniversary part at chapel on Seven Street. Nice program. Tresa Gregerson danced. They served Hawaiian haystacks and orange sherbet and rolls.

I woke up at 9:00 AM today. I worked for about an hour and then there was no more work to do. I exercised for an hour (legs & back, abs) and I showered and got ready. My visiting teachers came over at 1:00 PM. It's been a long time since I've had visiting teachers. It was Shireen Taylor and Valerie Hawkins. Nice ladies. Valerie was on enrichment with me, but I had never met Shireen before. I worked for about 45 minutes after they left, and then Nathanael and I went to Bush Park to play tennis. It was a beautiful day today! It was 68 degrees and sunny! We played 5 games and I won 3, although Nathanael doesn't play his hardest when he plays me, so I don't know if it counts. But...I did play pretty well today. :) When we got back from tennis, Nathanael went to Shawn Horlachers to watch the Gonzaga basketball game. I worked from 4:00 to 5:30 PM and then watched Ellen. Nathanael was supposed to be home at 7:00 so I made dinner to be ready at 7:00. He called on his way home and was stuck in traffic due to an accident and he got home just before 8:00 PM. I made sweet and sour chicken and rice for dinner. After dinner Nathanael worked on paintball stuff and I took a hot bath.

Kathy had to take scissors to be sharpened and take something to Roger. She left Telena and Ginney (?) here with us. Hi fixed Telena a sandwich and gave the girls animal crackers. I made their hot chocolate for them. Greg went with Kathy. Afternoon Hi and I took his trousers to ZCMI to be fixed. They will be ready on Friday. We walked in the mall and looked at (?). I sewed some to mend 3 pairs of Hi's garments.

Nathanael left early today for school. I slept until 9:00. I got up and worked for a couple of hours. Nathanael came home at 2:30 and was done with school for the week. Next week is Spring Break. Nathanael went and filled up our car tires with air. I worked some more. I went grocery shopping at Walmart. Nathanael took a nap. I made lemon chicken and mashed potatoes and rolls and broccoli for dinner. Nathanael had a church basketball game at 7:30. I went with him and watched him play. We watched The Office on TV.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I made green blueberry muffins for breakfast and did the dishes. Nathanael left at 9:30 for work. I worked for a couple of hours, I exercised for an hour. Nathanael came home at 1:30 to change for school and I made sandwiches for us for lunch. He went to school and I talked to Megan Carter on the phone for a couple of hours. I showered and got ready and worked for a couple more hours. I had frozen pizza for dinner. At 6:30 I went to Target and bought some make-up and a new pair of flip-flops. I watched TV. Nathanael won't be home until about 11:00 tonight.

Peggy called from Kathy's. She had to bring a friend over here so she brought Maren also and went shopping for a dress and shoes for Mary. They came here about 1:00 pm. We all went to Sizzler for lunch then we went to Pyketles and ultimate Hobbyist. I bought a blouse and Peg bought a pair of slacks at Pykeltes and they brought us home.

This morning I set my alarm for 8:30 but I slept until almost 9:30. This Daylight Savings thing is hard to get used to! Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I worked for two hours, I exercised for an hour (Core Synergistics) then I showered and got ready. I had a hair appointment at 2:00 at Salon 554 downtown. I got my hair cut and the stylist did an awesome job! I am pretty sure it's the best haircut I've ever had. Good thing, too, because it was the most expensive haircut I've ever had! It was $35 including a shampoo/condition plus style. I came back and worked for another hour and then I went on a walk with Kera. It was about 67 degrees outside today. I loved it! I can't wait for spring/summer. I came back home and worked for another hour or so. At 7:00 I had dinner and then I watched TV. Nathanael came home from school just after 9:00 pm.

It was Daylight Savings Time today and I was really, really tired when I woke up. Nathanael wasn't feeling well, so I went to Sacrament Meeting alone. I came home after to pick him up, but he wasn't ready, so I took a nap. He went for the third hour to teach the Deacons. He came home and we had lunch, just some leftovers. He went to school from about 2:00 to 6:00 pm. While he was gone I talked to my family on the phone, played the piano and played Nintendo. I made dinner, Salmon Alfredo with salad and garlic cheese bread. We watched America's Funniest Home Videos and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on TV.

Nathanael went to school around 8:30 this morning and then went to play paintball from 11:30 to 5:30 pm. While he was gone, I cleaned the apartment, did 3 loads of laundry. I exercised for an hour doing Kempo X and it felt so good! I haven't exercised in about a week and a half because I've had a cold, and it's been too long.While I folded and put away the laundry I watched "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs." When Nathanael got home, we had dinner, Hamburger Helper and salad and garlic bread. After that, around 7:00, we went to the Salem Center mall and Nathanael got some new jeans from American Eagle for $29.50. We stopped at Roth's on the way home to get garbage bags and we bought some cookie dough and ice cream to have for a treat.

Blake has Strep Throat. Jean King and I went visiting teaching. Kathy Marie Millword has moved out. Hi slept for a few hours. I napped for about one hour. I washed dishes in dishwasher. I walked a mile today. I love my husband.

Work was kind of slow today, but I worked for a few hours. I picked Nathanael up from school at 4:30 pm and we went to Walgreens to drop off two prescriptions. We went to Red Robin for dinner with the Boaz's at 6:00 pm. We shared a Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Wrap. On our way home we stopped at Walgreens and picked up the prescriptions. We watched "Couples Retreat" at 9:00 pm. I went to bed around 11:45 pm. Nathanael fell asleep on the couch and slept there all night.

Everyday Hiram tells me he loves me.
Kathy called us. I did up dishes that were left from last night. Did some washing. Paid bills and reconciled bank statement. Folded clothes and put them away. Told Hiram I love him. Hiram still coughing. Kathy's children have colds or sore throats.

I slept in until 10:00. I didn't sleep well and we didn't go to bed last night until about 1:00 am. I worked for a little bit. I was online and on the phone a LOT trying to figure out some insurance stuff so I can go to the doctor when I'm in Utah and finally got it figured out! Thank goodness. At 4:30 I went to Kera's and we made chicken scampi for dinner. It was really good. I left there about 6:30 and went and picked Nathanael up from school. It was raining hard and has been rainy and windy all day. Nathanael had church ball tonight and was gone from 7:45 until 10:30 pm. I watched American Idol and took a bubble bath.

June Williams called us from Greg and Barbara's. Jean King too me and I went to all meetings at church including teacher training. Hi still doesn't feel well and stayed home and fixed lunch then walked 2/3 mile on driveway. Put a plaster on Hiram's chest at night. He slept better. Watched skiing and ice skating.

I slept in. I worked for several hours in the morning. I went grocery shopping at 4:45-5:45 at Walmart. I talked to Lisa on the phone for an hour and talked to my mom on the phone for awhile after that. I folded two batches of laundry. I made chicken enchiladas for dinner, a new recipe, they turned out good. We ate dinner at 8:00 pm. We watched American Idol and 19 Kids & Counting. We didn't go to bed until midnight and I was having a hard time sleeping.

I did up my hair and I did some washing. I wrote check for tithing, etc. I mopped the kitchen floor and cleaned some in bathroom.

I was feeling much better today, but unfortunately Nathanael was feeling much worse. He went to school then went to the doctor who told him just to take Tylenol and come back for a check-up on Thursday. I worked this morning and at 4:30 went to the church to set up for the Relief Society birthday dinner. It went from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and I think it went really well. My slideshow worked and everyone said it was really nice. We had a really nice pork salad "Cafe Rio style" for dinner with Costco cheesecake for dessert. I helped clean up afterward and I got home around 9:30 pm. I watched American Idol and some other stuff on TV. It's almost midnight and I need to go to bed!

Kathy and Telena and I went to Singer Sewing Center. Kathy took me to bank to deposit a check. We went to Buttreys and got Hiram's 5 prescriptions, $118.18. Hi still doesn't feel good and slept while we were gone. Hi started taking Erythromycin to see if it will help him get well. I took a loaf of french bread to Summers.

I still have a cold and have a little cough now, too. I really didn't feel well this morning. I worked from 10:00 to 12:00 and then showered and got ready. I had a lot to do today to get ready for the Releif Society birthday dinner tomorrow night. I had to find getting to know you questions and print them out. I made a birthday card for Kelly and I went to the post office and then went to Willamette so Nathanael could copy the questions for me. I went to Craft Warehouse to get 12 x 12 paper for the centerpieces for the tables tomorrow night. I went to Kera's to get some CD's she burned for me to use for the slideshow tomorrow. I stayed and visited with her for about 30 or 40 minutes. I came home and cut out all of the getting to know you questions. It took me about an hour. I finished the slideshow. I did the dishes and folded a large batch of laundry. Nathanael came home at 7:00 and wasn't feeling well. He left soon after to go to a store to get some lubricant for his paintball gear and he stopped at Jamba Juice on the way home to get a Coldbuster. We had leftover chicken and rice casserole for dinner. We watched House on TV and the news. Busy day!! Time for bed.

I put warm oil in Hi's ears today. Hi took garbage out. He tried a scarf around his mouth and put the ear flops over his ears to keep from breathing the cold air. Hiram has a cold and still doesn't feel well. He helped me with my therapy. I got breakfast. I went to work at the Pocatello regional Genealogical Library from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Irene took me to post office to mail a letter to Buttreys to buy milk. I took Hi's temperature pulse when I got home. He has pain under jaw and in ears.

Went to church from 9:30 to 12:30. I did not sleep well at all, so I was very, very tired during church and had a headache. Nathanael brought me home and he did fast offerings with the deacons. I had lunch and then Nathanael and I took a long nap. At 3:00 pm Nathanael went to school to study. I worked on the Relief Society birthday dinner slide show for a couple of hours. Nathanael came home just before 7:00 pm. We ate dinner; chicken and rice casserole with broccoli and rolls. We watched the Academy Awards on TV. I went to bed around 11:00 pm.

Hi didn't sleep well and I woke up at 5:00 am, then I rested until 6:00 then did my therapy. Washed 3 batches of clothes, did dishes, pressed some outing flannel to make a receiving blanket, shoveled some snow; 2 times. Hiram has a cold and doesn't feel well.

This morning Nathanael went to school from 10:00 to 12:30. I did dishes and some laundry and made banana bread. At 1:00 we got ready to go to Lincoln City with some friends. I rode with Allie Zeyer (and Jackson) and Nathanael and Hyrum rode their motorcycles out to Lincoln City. Allie and I went to the outlet mall and Hyrum and Nathanael and their friend Keith stayed at the beach and built a fire. Melody Thueson met us at the outlets and Brandon and their girls were at the beach. Kera and Billy and Ethan Boaz met us at the beach for dinner. We cooked salmon over the fire and had salad and rolls with it. For dessert we had a chocolate and berry cobbler cooked in a dutch oven by Hyrum and Allie and we had s'mores. It was a good, good day. The ocean was beautiful, the weather was perfect. It was sunny and 62 degrees out. It was so much fun. We got home around 9:30 pm. Nathanael and Hyrum just about froze riding their motorcycles back, but I think they had fun.

Sister Loveless gave us ride to meetings. We did my therapy - Hi helped. We went to H & R Block to get income tax made out. There is a question about my IRA. I went to Relief Society work meeting at Ethel Henderson's. They showed us some exercises. Several stake board members were there. Irene and I saw some VCR movies with some other sisters.

I woke up this morning and could breathe through my nose again! It was great. :) I still didn't feel 100% today, but I felt a lot better than I did yesterday. I worked this morning; still didn't exercise. I've been taking it easy while I've had this cold. This afternoon I went over to Kera's to give her a birthday present. Today is her 25th birthday. I visited with her awhile. After, I went to Roth's to get a few groceries for this weekend. I put pictures in frames for the Relief Society birthday dinner coming up this Tuesday. It took me about an hour and a half to do. Nathanael got home from school around 7:00 pm. I had salad and pizza for dinner; Nathanael had spaghetti and meatballs. We watched "Ghost Whisperer" and some Sports Center. It's just after 10:00 pm and I am getting ready to go to bed.

Photoed exercise for my legs and gave copy to Betsy's mother. I showed her how to do the exercises. I took a bottle of grape ... to Betsy and oranges and took material for a weight bag for exercising leg to Betsy Summers' mother. I gave 3 lessons (copies) to Angela Hernandez. I was cross with Hiram yesterday and I'm sorry. I told him I was sorry.

I really didn't feel well today at all. My head was all congested and I've had a headache all day. I did not sleep well at all last night. I woke up several times not being able to breathe and took medicine to try and help. It didn't help. I worked a little today, just the minimum I am supposed to do. I made soup. Nathanael came home in the afternoon to check on me. I watched TV and movies. Nathanael had a church basketball game from 7:30 to 8:30 pm and he ran some errands for me. What a good husband I have. :) Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
